Requirements:

  • Spider gear shaft & spacers (TRA8584), spider gear (TRA8582), and stock gaskets from (TRA8581)
  • Removable thread lock (e.g. blue Loctite) on ring gear screws
  • Silicone diff lube
  • Tighten ring gear screws in a star pattern
  • Light application of grease on ring and pinion gears per Traxxas recommendations

Comments:

  • Replaces Traxxas plastic carrier housing from Traxxas 8581. The seals are reused
